The first time I heard “Let Her Cry”, it was sung by the a cappella group DeCadence in a mashup with Jewel’s “Foolish Games”. A few months later, I was checking out a record store on a trip to Japan—I don’t know, it was there—and found Cracked Rear Window in the discount bin, the album by Hootie & the Blowfish that included “Let Her Cry”. These days “Let Her Cry” is a karaoke song for me, since it’s reasonably in my range.

Sorry for the lousy video and audio. This was recorded on an older webcam and I didn’t feel like bothering to mix in audio from the newer laptop.
