NaCreSoMo 2016: Audio Extraordinaire!

Hey, it’s April, and that means NaCreSoMo 2016 is over. Gone are the days of creativity; from now on it’s just dreary plodding until the world has traveled once more in its orbit, slightly less than τ radians—about a twelfth—around the massive yellow stellar body that forms the center of our local existence—

Er, I mean, let’s talk about how it went, shall we?

"Animated" Sorting Algorithms (in Swift)

It’s the last day of NaCreSoMo! I had fun with the last ASCII art program, so I decided to do another one. This one’s a friend to beginning computer science majors everywhere: it animates sorting algorithms.

Losing Sleep

Lately I’ve been, I’ve been losing sleep
Lying and wondering what you’d think of me
You know I know you might take it pretty hard
But we’re past counting blows now
We’ve only come so far

This light has bought us borrowed time
Spool my heart out on a line
But if this is the end that’s fine
I’ll pay the price and get what’s mine

Oh, but are we now old?
Lies, if the truth be told
Cause all that glitters is not gold
And sometimes you just have to fold

I, I, I feel something so right doing…
