Movie Review: Guardians of the Galaxy
Basically an Abrams-era Star Trek movie that didn’t take itself seriously:
- Main character is handsome white male hotshot who’s actually kind of a loser, breaks all the rules, but saves Democracy Planet anyway. Actor is named Chris P.
- Violates xkcd’s Fiction Rule of Thumb.
- Fails the Bechdel Test and pretty much all related criteria.
- Zoe Saldana.
I guess it was fun but it was completely forgettable. Pass.
