Fluffy Dog
You may all keep your jewels, your silver and gold.
You may keep your armies, the lands that you hold.
Keep the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the tide.
I only need this fluffy dog at my side.Ah, what a treasure, this companion canine
Go on, place a hand on that fur so divine.
For life holds no pleasure could ever compare
With the feel of a finely washed fluffy dog’s hair.Alas and alack, for this pet I have kissed—
Though the canine be loyal, the fluff can’t persist,
For a dog will e’er do as a dog will see fit
And soon lie down and roll in a pile of shit.
